which period of your life would you choose to revisit

When we were young, time seemed to drag on, and it felt like we had to cram in so many activities to fill up the day.

Back then, the verbs we used for time were often “kill” or “waste.”

Now, we barely have a moment to pause and reflect, with work-related stress, the weight of daily life, family duties, caring for our parents, managing interpersonal relationships, and the decline in our physical health — all consuming our existence.

You might find yourself lamenting that another year is almost gone, feeling as though you’ve accomplished nothing, with the tasks you planned to do left undone, and the years that have passed by in the blink of an eye, as if they were just yesterday.

In truth, time has never changed — it doesn’t differentiate between long or short, much or little, fast or slow. It’s we who are growing and evolving day by day.

The reason you feel that time is speeding up year after year is that each year becomes more significant to you than the last.

Dear Friend:

If there was a time machine right now that could take you back to any moment in your past, which period of your life would you choose to revisit?
