Perception

Even on my darkest days, you have a way of making me feel worse.

A battle I’m destined to never win.

I have tried everything in the book.

There’s nothing quite as bad as feeling helpless.

And knowing someone loves you just how you are. More than you even love yourself.

Knowing they don’t see what you see, is confusing but comforting.

I see the same shapes, but I’ll sleep soundly tonight.
