It’s time. Let’s settle this.

Jelly donuts suck and they make everyone sad. How does this pertain to the donuts v doughnuts spelling debate?

Oh, it pertains. It pertains until the cows come home.

Donuts

Use when: You’re eating a donut that doesn’t have jelly in it.
Why? Because those donuts are tasty and good and you should have another one.

Doughnuts

Use when: You’re eating a jelly filled doughnut.
Why? Because it’s a donut with UGH in the middle.

Hi, I’m Professor Spellface, a name that I made up simply for the purposes of this asinine opinion piece. If you prefer jelly doughnuts to good donuts, I ask that, in lieu of recommending this story, you take a long, hard look at your life and the person you’ve become.
