With Adobe Acrobat XI, Adobe Reader XI and Adobe Reader DC (which is free!), it’s become much easier to edit PDF files.
The Text Correction Markup and Comment tools lets you add punctuation, comments and other markup almost as quickly as in a Word document.
This is the Comment tool in the Tools window:
To open the Comment window, go to the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Comment’.
