Why was it created?

The spark that ignited ‘What can we learn’ came from the desire to create an engaging and insightful resource for our community. Drawing inspiration from popular Reddit stories and the podcasts i listen to where people react and red them out i thought ‘how could we do this but ad some professional insight to an entertaining podcast. A podcast that not only entertains but also imparts valuable lessons. The result?

A series that promises laughter, learning, and a fresh perspective on the ups and downs of professional life.

What's the premise?

From AI mishaps to distracting dogs, surprising interview panel revelations, and the art of strategic water breaks, each episode promises a delightful blend of humour and valuable insights.

Our debut episode, featuring special guest Kath Saunders, dissects interview fiascos, turning them into lessons that resonate with professionals at all career stages.

We’ve all heard or been part of a horrendous interview so i searched the internet to find the worst, the most memorable, and the ones that absolutly smashed it! Then we can do what it says on the tin and see what we can learn from their experiences!

That's pretty much it! Looking forward to many more episodes across different themes so give me a message if you would like to guest.

How this fits with WorkForDorset:

‘What can we learn’ is part of our ongoing early careers campaign, focusing on providing guidance and support to individuals navigating the interview process. By sharing relatable stories and practical insights, we aim to demystify the world of work and contribute to the professional development of our audience.

But that doesn't mean it has to be a boring podcast does it!?

Conclusion:

Join us, laugh with us, and let’s explore the invaluable lessons hidden in the nooks and crannies of the professional landscape. Check out the debut episode and let us know what you think!

There's always ways to improve and get better and we look forward to developing this as we go :)
