Helmed by the husband-wife duo of Fahmy and Erliana, FIN Crafted Goods is a true testament to how persistence and pursuit of a craft can lead to business success.

FIN Crafted Goods today is a well respected brand that has done collaborations with many famous brand names, such as Vans and Uniqlo.

But its success did not come easy.

As Fahmy recounted, at the beginning he had to “work for 8 hours in the open, (with) lots of sweat and just thick skin”.

A Friend For Life

Their focus on craft in their products, as well as relationships with their customers, are truly admirable.

“I don’t want to have a customer, I want to have a friend for life. Because that guy will support me, a customer comes and goes.”

This focus is probably also what sets them apart from other small businesses today.

Trench Warfare At Best

For aspiring entrepreneurs, their advice is not to start a business simply for the money, because “you are not going to be another Google or Facebook”.

If you find happiness starting and executing a business, go do it.

But they would you remind you that starting a business is not all about passion. It is “chance, hard work, constantly swimming against the current”

It is truly “trench warfare at best”.
