The WIPSG Story

Have you ever heard about fresh new startups and projects and thought to yourself:

“Man, I wish I could do that too?”

“That’s so cool, I wanna start my own idea too!”

Well, we did.

But what is starting up really like?

Is it all rosy and glamorous like how it tends to be portrayed?

What does it take to successfully start your own business or idea?

As we pondered about these, we came away with more questions than answers.

What better way to tackle these questions head on, than by listening to stories of these people directly involved!

And it was this very thought that led to this project today: Work In Progress SG was born.

WIP SG is a platform for us to share local stories of entrepreneurs and projects.

Many Singaporean youth are risk averse.

We would much rather go for a safer, well established route than to tread the path less taken.

But what is behind these uncertain roads?

And what are the stories behind the people who courageously chose this path?

We wanted to go beyond the conventional wisdom.

Through our stories and interviews, we aim to help inspire and educate aspiring youths on the ‘truth’ of entrepreneurship and starting their own projects.

Not just the Glitz and glamour, Freedom, Cash.

We wanted to offer a fresh and authentic approach to uncovering these entrepreneurial stories.

From hardship and failure, to fulfillment and success, we wanted to learn about them all.

The constant Stress. Worry. Hustle.

These people may all come from different backgrounds and industries.

But we all share one thing in common: We are all a Work In Progress.
