To create a task using To-do bot, it is as simple as typing /todo, followed by the task details. E.g. /todo Set up presentation

To assign a team member with a message menu, create the task in the Slack channel and simply click on the “Assign To” button. A list of the participants of the channel will be populated and you can quickly choose a team member to assign the task to.

Set due dates for a task with message menus

Once you have created a task in To-do bot, you can set a due date so that you will never forget when the task is to be completed.

Simply create the task using the /todo command, and then click on the “Add due date” button. You can choose a pre-populated option from the list, or type in your own date and time to set the due date.
