Everyone needs stability in their lives.

Some choose a home, a family, a good job down at the cracker factory. Us? We’re all about stable code. And that’s exactly what we’ve been creating over the past weeks.

Most of the Dev goings-on in this update focus on the stability of our automated Bounty program which, due to a little more traffic than expected, had a few teething issues. So, let me introduce a very special “Stability” Dev Update…

What’s New in This Update

Making a Better Bounty

Those playing at home would have noticed a few, ahem, problems with the points tracking of our Bounty program. This was due to 46,000 users participating and taking hundreds of thousands of actions that required tracking. And, well, our Bounty struggled to keep track of the point-scoring mania.

But, fear not! All is fixed. Points have been tallied. Tokens will be rewarded. Tears of relief have been shed. And our Bounty is fully operational, streamlined and keeping count of every point earned. Here’s what our brainy Dev team did to fix it…

Facebook Tracking: All action you take on Facebook through our bounty is now being tracked and points rewarded. It’s not good when Zuck tracks you. But it is when our bounty does.
Medium Article Clap Tracking: Every clap given to our Medium articleswill now register on your bounty dashboard. Keep the applause coming!
‘Already Following’ Action: When you connect your account, “follows” will now show in the app and bounty dashboard. The non-creepy kind of follows that earn your points.
Airdrop Campaign Added: On your bounty dashboard you’ll now see an “Airdrop” option under campaigns. Just another way for you to earn WATT Tokens.

Bug Fixes

We’ve squished 41 measly bugs that were buzzing around. Here’s some of the squishing that went on…

Twitter Retweet, Like, Share workID — For some, points for sharing were showing on the leaderboard but not in your user account. Points are now showing e’rywhere — just like they should.
Confirmation email not received — A few people didn’t receive a confirmation email when signing up. It wasn’t even in your spam folder alongside those emails from Nigerian princes. All confirmation emails are now sending.
Bitcointalk point/tracking — Were you one of those that went to all the trouble of authenticating on Bitcointalk only for the points not to show? Our bad. Now all Bitcointalk points tracking is running smoothly.
Issue with referral points — Some cheeky folks (shame on you!) tried to take advantage of our good will by gaming our referral points system. We’ve updated the system to make it even smarter and automatically weed out spam referrals.
