What’s New This Week

WorkPAY Demo

Upon login, you probably caught a glimpse of a few shiny new changes to the WorkChain.io dashboard (like an upgrade from a Camry to a Bentley). Here’s what we’ve been hard at work creating in the past week:

workPAY Calendar Demo: A sneak-peak of our workPAY calendar (which will have full functionality soon) is now available in your dashboard. View your payment schedule and your hours worked, and even view details such as the employer for each gig, start time, end time, and money earned. Green means payment already has been made, while red means you’re still waiting on payment.

Payment Settings Demo: By clicking the settings icon (the little credit card with the gear on it), you’ll be able to preview the payment settings. In the future, you’ll be able to choose how your funds are allocated or invested in one easy-to-use menu.

This is all part of our mission to bring better payroll for employers and employees. We’re keen to hear how you like it!

workID Detail Page

We’re proud to unveil our brand new detail page for workID, now available at the following link: https://workchain.io/workid.
workID combines and authenticates your lifetime of work records on the blockchain. It’s the first step to unlocking access to the rest of the platform.

workPAY Detail Page

Alongside our new workID detail page comes another for workPAY: https://workchain.io/workpay.
Unlocked with workID, workPAY is your money on your terms when you need it most. View how the two products interact and get more clarity around the functionality of workPAY here.

White Paper

We’ve added a brand new section to our website where our white paper is now fully coded, and locked and loaded. View it on our website at the following link: https://workchain.io/whitepaper.

Choose your language, then navigate section by section. Or make use of the easy-to-use side navigation menu.

Referral Code

Now you can optionally add a referral code when registering for a new account on our platform. For current users, grab your referral link from the “Network” menu in the navigation menu once logged in. More announcements about referral codes coming soon!

Join the Community

In the “Home” section of the dashboard, you’ll notice a new section with links to social networks. Follow us from right in the dashboard, and your status will be updated in real time!

Bug Fixes

A total of 32 logged bugs have been fixed. Wait, is it good or bad if this number keeps going up? 🤔 Let’s go with good. Yeah, really good. Go team!
Luckily most of the bugs this week were quick fixes: wrong fonts, tabbing issues, text alignment, color changes, saving the entire human race from intergalactic space aliens. You know, basic stuff.
For iPhone users, you may have noticed a few flattened images in articles. We just wanted to test your eyesight. Test complete. Back to normal. You all passed! Collect your certificate on the way out.
