Consumer Blockchain with Lynx — Now API enabled on BOTH IOS and Android

Two weeks ago, at our Lynx Launch party, we officially launched our Lynx wallet for EOS. We talked about our vision for integrating apps directly into our mobile and desktop wallets, and most people assumed that this was another one of these “futurism” speeches about what the blockchain might look like in the far future.
Last week, we unveiled our first integration: EOS Bet / Dice for IOS. If you go to https://dice.eosbet.io/ you can try it out.
Seeing is believing:
- if you click “Connect with Lynx” and you don’t have Lynx you will be prompted to download the app. After no more than 120 seconds, you will have a fresh EOS account
- You will then be re-directed back to the app. Whenever you need to sign a transaction, the Lynx authentication screen will appear and within just a few seconds you will be able to confirm payment.
Today we’re releasing the same functionality on Android. Same crisp integration. Feels exactly like “Pay with Paypal / Open with Facebook” but for Crypto.
Next steps:
As mentioned during our launch party, we are far from done. We are nearly finished with the Electron Desktop App API — which will provide a complete alternative to Scatter / MetaMask for desktop web apps (and eventually other desktop apps). And we have a clear roadmap for App to App deep linking for both IOS and Android.
If you are an app developer, either on blockchain or not, and you want to token-enable your app, please visit lynxapi.com and let us know about you. We’ll have our BD team follow up.
