WorkFlowy Is Designing Out In The Open

We want your thoughts about our thoughts

We get a lot of feedback on WorkFlowy through email and by interviewing individual users (and non-users). But we’re feedback gluttons, and we’re not satisfied. We want to try something a little different, a little more adventurous.

We’re going to see what it feels like to be pretty open with our product development. We’ll ask for feedback on what we’re thinking about and working on. Perhaps you will be mean to us and scare us back into our hole, but I hope not.

We’ve decided to do this on Medium because their system lets readers respond to posts with full posts. This means people can be as elaborate in their ideas and feedback as they want, embedding images and videos, doing whatever they need to communicate. We like that idea.

I’m writing this first post just to announce the intention, and to have something for people to read when they ask, “What is going on here?”
