Jill Stein is not the answer, but voting Green Party is.

Jill Stein-Green Party candidate

This election season has made it clear how disconnected the Republicans and Democrats are from the general population. Both candidates pushed upon us have no relation or insight to the general population of the US. Histories of corruption, deceit, racism, corrupt corporatism, and continual wars are being pushed upon us with either option. And the sad thing? We will be stuck with one of these corporate sellouts in a few days.

That is why it is so important to vote for Green Party in this election. It is time to push for a 3rd option. It is time to break free from this corrupt two party system and voting for Jill Stein is a way to do that. We know that Stein in not a perfect candidate but she is far, far better than both Trump and Hillary.

We know that the votes for Stein will not result in a presidency but it will result in more recognition and more importantly federal funding for the Green Party. 2016 is not the election that the Green Party will make a difference but it is the start of that difference. Once Stein gets 5% of more of the votes the Green Party will be eligible for federal funding.

If we want to see the continuation of wars, bank bailouts, support for the 1% over all else, profit over people policies, industrial complexes running wild, and so on then by all means, vote for Trump or Hillary. Change is happening in our quick paced world and the two party system is one of the many obstacles working to hold back that change.

Remember, a vote for Jill Stein is a vote for Jill Stein. When a voter was never going to participate in the two party system in the first place then a vote for a 3rd party is a vote for the 3rd party. A vote for Stein is not a vote for Trump. It is not taking anything away from Hillary. You cannot force every voter into those two options. A vote for Stein is a vote for Stein and a push for the 5%.

It is 2016. We have been told to vote for the lesser of two evils for decades. What has that given us? Two horrible options.
