I understand that everyone has to make a living and that there are writers on here that do in fact depend on being paid for their wonderful work. I also understand that the team behind medium.com has to make money in one way or another. Medium.com is an amazing place for people to express themselves, where ideas can be shared, awareness raised, and so much more.

The publication ‘Working for Change’ was started back in 2016 to help highlight some of the amazing authors and their ideas on medium. With 40+ contributors to the publication and thousands of viewers we feel we have done just that (and will continue to do so). We want to keep this content free and open for everyone to view. We understand that not everyone has the financial freedom to pay monthly fees. Enjoy the works in Working for Change.
