The minute when you learn

Has to be the minute when you gain.

“When you have just learnt something, when you have an idea and tons of energy, you have 3 months to make your mark. 3 months.”

More than once in the past, a discussion, a situation, or an experience affected me, taught me and set me free. With the feeling that something is happening: that I just understood. However, while I think of all these discussions which left me richer than I was, I wonder what prevented me from always turning lessons into action. I believe time does. I mean, the reflection which slows down the action.

Because the point of learning isn’t to think of it and to remember it, but to act accordingly. Right away.

Have you ever asked yourself “the lifestyle I imagine, the ambitious purpose I have, the feeling that is resonating in my heart, the impact I aim to create… How long does it take ? Years ? ”

Think years instead of months not only makes you slow down, but also prevents direct action, high expectations, and by extension, significant change.

Give yourself 3 months.

It sounds crazy but it’s not. Action might not lead to success, but to clarity. The wrong way is the right action in search of a different way. Collect failed shots as part of the process. Experience different ways. 3 months from now, I might not have experienced the revolution I crave but I would have initiated it.

Lasting change starts slowly. Indeed, lessons drives into action. Action leads to repetition. As much as we try, experience builds our path and at some point, makes it works. Through it all, we gain.

However, if I pay attention to this process, I realize that the minute when I learn is the minute when I gain. It is my responsibility to gain this minute to introduce the change in my life for good.

How many minutes are needed to seize finally our gain and initiate the change ? Just one. The minute when you learn.
