It’s Up to You, New York

The third stop on our nomadic journey is New York City!

We are here in Midtown East for the month of November and already, Teddy is a city dog.

I learned that you can have dogs off leash in Central Park from 6–9am in many places and we can walk from our 56th Street apartment to the park in a few minutes.

Luckily, we booked our place a long time ago and got a great deal on an apartment that is in a hotel building. We have hotel services, a hotel key to our door, and the apartment is a lovely NYC one bedroom that is perfect for our little familia.

Wendy’s company has an office in NYC and so she is going there, giving us some much needed break from being in each other’s space all day. I am set up to work in the apartment and it’s perfect for me for this month.

Thanks to Wendy’s quick action, we saw a play already. To Kill a Mockingbird with Jeff Daniels. It was excellent. Broadway is back!

We really like it here. The energy is infectious and already we are thinking about how we can come back.

We are both traveling for work next week, but then we want to find a time to get our NYC friends to come out for drinks or dinner somewhere so we can see all the folks we rarely get a chance to see.

More updates coming soon.
