A few months ago, when we launched Lunar, we did it with the mission of helping people find jobs they could thrive in. Today, after many discussions with employers and candidates, we’re re-launching under a new name and a fresh design, that puts person-organisation fit at the core of the platform, to combine all the features into one holistic experience.

We are committed to make the job discovery process of candidates a more meaningful, easier one and to help companies promote themselves in the most effective way possible. WorkValues seemed like the best way to express the shift in mindset that we want to contribute creating — that people should be able to easily find work that best leverages their skills, but also their working style.

Person-organisation fit was proven to increase both job satisfaction and employee tenure, and it is already used in hiring, but usually at later stages in the process. We want to bring that at the forefront of job discovery and increase the chances of applicants to go in the direction of companies that match both their knowledge and their work values. With 43% of Millennials and 61% of Gen-Z planning to leave their employers in the next 2 years, maybe the race to increase employee engagement shouldn’t mean investing in fancier offices or perks, but aligning talent and companies’ expectations in order to create the space for more meaningful, fulfilling work. Our bet is on the second.

We put the first brick of this foundation by creating Lunar, and we want to take it one notch above with the new version. Some of the features that we’ve introduced are:

  • New company page — companies can now use pictures on their profiles, to showcase their workplace and internal culture
  • New job page — with aiding visualisations to help candidates grasp their fit with the job in a few seconds & broken-down match scores based on 3 main dimensions — knowledge, culture and growth
  • Job analytics dashboard — for employers to measure their jobs’ success rate
  • New recommendations feed — with the option of making changes in job preferences directly from the feed & displayed candidate-job overall match score.
  • Candidate profile matching visualizations — when visiting a candidate profile as a recruiter, you can select the job you’re hiring for and get a quick analysis of the degree of match they have with it on the different dimensions
  • Applicant rank & review feature —our data-driven ATS, which helps you sort through job applications using our matching algorithms, discover the best fitting candidates, keep track of their stage in the process and engage with them. All from within WorkValues and as part of the standard package whenever you publish a job. Of course, you can still use an external ATS should you choose to do so.
  • Last, but not least — the culture-fit matching dimension — which is based on 24 distinct values that you can choose from to best describe the culture of the team you’re hiring for or you‘d like to work with

If you’re curious and want to discover our new features, go and login on workvalues.io with your existing user and password.

We hope you’ll enjoy the experience,

The WorkValues team
