We live in an era of unprecedented abundance of jobs and career mobility possibilities, and yet a large portion of current employees are unsatisfied with the work they do and the organisations they work for.

In this age of choice, when jobs come in all types and flavors, finding one that fits your requirements should be an easy task. Despite this, most job portals don’t offer many meaningful search criteria beyond mere keywords, which aren’t enough at filtering through the thousands of options available. This can render job seekers unable to make objective decisions about what jobs to apply for, and employers struggling to attract the right talent in their organisations.

Nevertheless, we believe it should be possible to find interesting jobs that fit your expectations, without a lot of hassle. That’s why we are building a platform that matches employers and job seekers based on their interests and needs, a platform aiming to bring the right people in the right organisations so they can thrive and bring more value together.

The way we see it, the main features that help generate a good match are:

  • Skills — regardless of the job title, it should be easy to find a candidate that has the skills that the employer is looking for (at the level of seniority they want), across industries, departments and business jargon.
  • Learning interests —growth and learning opportunities are a top criteria for choosing a job across all generations; moreover, all companies are able to offer some learning opportunities; matching them from the beginning could spare a lot of time for both sides.
  • Person-Organisation fit — the fit between the values of employees and their employers has proven to predict increased tenure and employee engagement; while many recruiting companies are offering it as a consulting service, we think it’s possible to bring this to the masses.
  • Relocation willingness — job markets are more open than ever, so recruiters are frequently searching for international talent willing to relocate.
  • Education, previous employers — some organisations do search by specific educational background or tend to recruit from among the alumni of specific companies.
  • Languages — professionally spoken languages are often a selection criteria for many jobs.

Our aim is to provide a feed of the best matches for both job seekers and recruiters, so they can spend more time evaluating truly interesting opportunities for them.
