Human connection is an experience that enables you to lose yourself in the moment and feel alive.

When you connect with a stranger and hear their stories, you become inspired to venture out of your comfort zone and explore the unknown. One of the best ways of doing this is by connecting with locals while travelling and with travellers while at home.

We started World From A Couch as travellers ourselves. We wanted to take on the challenge of seeing how open minded we really were by inviting travelers from around the world into our home. In contrast, we also wanted to stay with locals while on our world travels to understand how they lived their daily lives.

For the past few months, we’ve hosted over twenty people from seven different counties. Amongst these people, stories of adventure, passion, and struggles were shared. These stories are what remind us that we are all human. We are all on our own journey and the paths that we come across and the connections we make are stories that will live on within us forever.

What started as a passion for the human connection has become a project that allows us to open our minds and hearts by welcoming travellers through our front door. Follow us here as we experience the world from a couch.
