Communism Explained. And Why It Will Never Happen

Libertarians secretly want a communist state, but just don’t know it.

Just for one moment, mention something in which the state assists the people, and there will be an immediate plethora of voices yelling, belittling, screaming, or simply name-calling you. In the light of the common interest, I thought I would take a look at communism, explain what it is, and voice my opinion that it will never happen. I also thought, I would explain why communism was not a good idea, and why libertarians secretly want a communist state.

What is communism? And why it has never existed

Communism and socialism are two very different things. They are, in fact at the opposite ends of the spectrum. The welfare society (Germany, UK, and several western European countries) bears no resemblance to communism. On the other hand, business co-operatives, in which the workers own the business, and which business models are plentiful throughout the world, are perfect examples of communism.

Communism is an economic model in which the workers own the means of production. Socialism is when the government owns the means of production. In neither of these two economic models does the government interfere in the private lives of the people…
