I find beauty in the complication of the writing; it drives the reader to think. What is this about? What am I reading? Upon closer look, I find that Anaxagoras is still confusing. His philosophy revolves around the mind and the structure of the universe. I initially thought that the mind would quite literally be our minds and how we think; however, it is written in almost a godly sense, creating everything and the concept of everything. The mind to him is a strong sense that arranges how things are meant to be, and even things that we perhaps were not meant to understand. In comparison, our mind controls the thoughts and concepts inside our head, while the mind that Anaxagoras describes is the one that controls the universe. Everything that we know of come from thoughts in our brain, which, in a way, is alike to the mind of the universe which makes everything the way it is.
