Dante

For my Dante Inferno assignment I decided to do a mixed media photo college/ interpretation. All the images placed in this photo were specifically picked out and placed in certain areas to convey this assignment. I placed an image of people coming out of a man’s mouth; the man is supposed to be Dante and the people coming out of his mouth is to symbolize how he and all of his souls are not in control. The two men standing near Dante’s eye on a book next to a heart symbolizes the conscious and unconscious mind. On Dante’s cheek I tried adding an image of the 9 circles of hell… let’s just say I’m not the best at blending two dark phots with each other.
