Dante’s Descent

For my media project on Dante, I took screenshots from various underground levels in the game Subnautica. The further down you go, the more hellish and gruesome the atmosphere becomes. The first picture shows a scene of near serenity, but still dark and unfamiliar with a sense of foreboding. The last shows a scene of true horror, with a landscape left in ruin.
