Dante’s Inferno

I collaborated with Alexa, and we created a collage illustrating the imagery of Dante’s journey throughout the nine circles of hell. We found pictures that we thought best represented each circle. The string represents Minos, who is the judge for every soul, and who assigns souls to their circle of hell. The string wraps around the circles in our collage the way his serpent tail would wrap around himself. The string also symbolizes Dante not being in control of his existence anymore and feeling hopeless. That by the ninth circle, he lost faith in his religion.
