I made this piece to signify Dante losing his religion in Dante’s Inferno. The cross shattering along with the white lines I drew to signify the veil of religion being lifted. The shattering of the horns represents the destruction of this false narrative of Heaven and Hell, as they become nothing but mere figments of the imagination. As Dante learns the truth of whats he’s been forced to believe. As for the second piece I honestly just drew it because I really like cool gothic art and this epic poem definitely gave me those vibes.
