Lanval

This poem is very mysterious for one. There isn’t much description to it or background, so it’s a bit difficult to go off. It seems to be describing about a ruler who was kind to his army and one of his servants, Lanval, who none cared about. It’s definitely a lot shorter than other poems I’ve seen so far. Other than that, I don’t see as much difference in it than other poems I’ve read.
