Medea relates to today's society in many different ways. Medea made sacrifices without regrets because she loved Jason. But after finding out about the marriage to the King’s daughter, she has much regret, which was forbidden in Ancient Greek culture. The only thing a women wants is to be loved, but unfortunetely he left her for someone else. After hearing that someone you loved left you for someone else, who wouldnt be hurt?. The society stereotype where also men are the more powerful, dominant gender was definetely praevalent and recognized in Ancient Greece at the time. Medea is a feminist hero because medea stood her ground and allowed no man to change her views.
