This is an account of the trip with my friend Niccolò, in the region famous for being the tip of Italy’s boot. But above all for the large quantities of spicy food consumed every meal.

The news will be divided into different articles so that I can concentrate on every single location.

The vehicle chosen for this trip was the car since, due to covid, motorbikes were nowhere to be found.

The trip was in a circle between the two shores of Calabria, the Tyrrhenian, and the Ionian, and lasted ten days spent sunbathing on the beaches, eating spicy food, and discovering the beauties of the small seaside towns.

In the many hours of travel, during which we alternated in the difficult driving of a not recently manufactured car, we faced the roads of the land of fires, so-called because of the many spontaneous fires that flare up among the scrub fields and in the woods.

Reggio Calabria is the most beautiful kilometer in Italy
