Less is more — this applies to personal robots, too.

The era of the personal robot is around the corner.

What needs to be done is abandoning unnecessary use cases that do not fit the picture altogether, and not trying to define more and more use cases (there are plenty already.)

Personal robots of today have too many potential use cases (good ones indeed,) and this very fact is preventing them from offering the best and unique user experiences in a way that only personal robots can.

Just like the 1st gen. iPod, personal robot needs to have a handful of selected, yet well-thought-out use cases only, and that will enable them to offer the best user experiences the world has not yet seen — that is exactly what we need to pursue!

All use cases defined above are excellent — if they can actualize one, only one, this product will be a huge success! (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/alpha-2-the-first-humanoid-robot-for-the-family#/)
