On 20/21 March, 2018 Timur Kosykh and German Chekin spread the word about our project — developing a free decentralized worldwide Wi-Fi network — at the TOKEN2049 conference, held in Hong Kong.
TOKEN2049 brought together members of the global token and cryptocurrency ecosystem — CEOs, investors, advisors, blockchain evangelists, entrepreneurs, and crypto enthusiasts — to discuss the problems and the prospects of the field. The conference had a dazzling collection of the best minds of the industry giving keynotes and participating in panel discussions: Vinny Lingham, CEO at Civic; Max Kordek, President at Lisk; Martin Köppelmann, CEO at Gnosis; Jimmy Song from Blockchain Capital; Jack Lu, founder and CEO at Wanchain; Craig Wright, Chief Scientist at nChain; Vanessa Grellet, Executive Director at ConsenSys; Maxim Pertsovskiy, COO at Waves Platform; and many others.
The agenda of this cutting-edge conference featured many lively and stimulating discussions about such essential issues of the token-based economy as numerous technological and regulatory challenges faced by the blockchain world; security management and ICO valuation principles; the application of blockchain in the financial sector; the operation of crypto hedge funds; the impact of crypto space on retail, to name but a few.
Our Chief Business Development Officer Timur Kosykh, Asian Market Project Development Manager German Chekin — attended this high-profile event and tapped into the great opportunity to grow our network, to exchange ideas, and to share our mission — to develop a blockchain platform that would integrate home routers and public hotspots around the world into a free network and connect advertisers with their target audiences directly — with fund managers, VCs, advisors bloggers, and other industry experts and influencers that were in attendance at TOKEN2049.
