John Bolton as new national security adviser of United States (P 1)

The president Trump announced the news in a tweet, saying that Bolton would take the job starting April 9, making him Trump’s third national security adviser in the first 14 months of his presidency.
미국의 대통령, 도널드 트럼프는 트위터를 통해서 볼턴이새로운 National Security Adviser로 임명됐다고 알렸다. 볼턴은 트럼프 행정부의 3번째 국가안보담당 보좌관이 되는 것이다.

The appointment of Bolton is certain to scramble the White House’s preparations for a proposed summit by the end of May between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Bolton is a fierce North Korea hawk who, in his prolific writings and television commentary, has said that preemptive war would likely be the only way to stop North Korea from obtaining the capability to attack the United States with a nuclear missile.
볼터의 국가안전 보좌관 임명은 5월 말에 예정된 미국과 북한간의 정상회담 준비에 많은 변화를 가져올것으로 보인다. 볼턴은 북한에 대한 강력한 제제정책을 주장하는 대표적인 매파로 각종 신문과 방송에서 북한에 대한 유일한 해결책은 선제공격 뿐이라고 주장해 왔다.
“We have to ask ourselves whether we’re prepared to take preemptive action, or live in a world where North Korea — and a lot of other people — have nuclear weapons,” he said.
“사람들은 스스로에게 질문을 해야 합니다. — 북한에 대해서 선제공격을 감행해야 하는지, 또는 북한과 함께하면서 핵무기의 위협에 노출되야 하는지?”
Bolton has been even more hawkish than Trump on Iran, pushing for the president to withdraw from the nuclear agreement that the United States and five other world powers reached with Tehran during the Obama administration.
볼턴은 이란의 핵 문제에 대해서 트럼프보다 더 강경한 태도를 취했었고, 오바마 행정부에서 체결한 이란과늬 핵협상 합의를 파기하도록 트럼프에 강력히 요청했었다.
