Prof. Masood Hasan: Dedication and Diligence combined
Father of seven daughters, all successful in their lives, all well-educated and married to decent boys, Prof. Masood Hasan may very well be described as a role model for all fathers with daughters. Rising from a small village, he went on to study in the most coveted Muslim university of the country, took master in economics appointed lecturer in economics at AMU, Aligarh, proceeded to University of California, Los-Angeles, USA for availing Fulbright postdoctoral research fellowship and thereafter bacame Reader and Professor. As tall and handsome in his younger days as any man can feel proud of, at the age of 72, he is still busy in academic pursuits and social obligations. Plain approach, well-defined objectives and well thought-out strategy are the hallmark of his personality. Always humbly smiling, cracking timely jokes in social gatherings and uttering thought-provocative sentences in between make him not only a pleasant but adorable personality.
