The outgoing 2018th was filled with bright events, achievements in the development of Worldopo and big changes in the crypto industry. This year was hard for the entire crypto community and even more for the ICO market, which, due to unscrupulous participants, severely undermined investors’ confidence. Despite the situation on the market, those projects that work hard on their products, protocols, services and new blockchain platforms still trade on exchanges and have the support of investors, traders and users. In the new year, most of the projects that completed ICO in 2017 and 2018 should implement their roadmaps and release many viable products, which should have a positive impact on the altcoin market.

Our project reached a soft cap with the support of the community and large investors, which allowed us to start work on the pre-alpha version — Worldopo AirMiner already at the stage of Private Sale. After the end of the pre-sale, we have already started developing a new UI, 3D models and Beta version of the game based on High Level Design, which we successfully presented at one of the world’s largest exhibition Gamescom, where companies like EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard etc. make announcements of their new products. We and our partners were very pleased to see the support for Worldopo from our community.

Noteworthy is that Worldopo is one of the first games in the world that is being developed step by step with the participation of those players who appreciated the concept of an economic simulator with real-world gamification. It was for these players who were ready to support the project and helped us testing it, improving it and so we started the first “Game Loop” with premium objects and our hard currency as the main resource. This approach is quite new in the development of games and many new players, especially those unfamiliar with the blockchain and the token economy have encountered difficulties.

Since we have chosen to develop in this direction, we have so far focused on basic marketing, with an emphasis on the crypto community, which is still not large enough. Now we have moved to the completion of the entire Game Loop and are ready to enter the main gaming market, enter the most trending AR Games segment and enlist the support of new partners.

For this new stage for us, we want to go out with the new slogan “Worldopo — the place of the game — Planet Earth”. Entering the main market involves more game content, balancing resources and gameplay for new players who start their game from a tutorial — this takes more time than planned, and therefore we delay the release a bit, which also includes some game content, which was scheduled for January.

In the first quarter, we will announce on the TestNet the transparent logging of in-game operations with hard currency & premium objects.

To complete the main gameplay we need to finish the following functionality:

  • Achievements
  • ARkit/ARCore Integration to combine virtual objects in real life with maximum reliability
  • Quests
  • Clans
  • Game assets tokenization, real-time mining pool tracking
  • New Life Quality Buildings + 2 additional branches (IT & Security)
  • Additional payment methods for Android Smartphones & for other countries
  • Web Version

Most of these tasks are already done on the server side and in the game engine.

Partnerships

  • Partnership with Sirin Labs (our token will be available to all FINNY smartphone owners, the next step will be the integration into the FINNY cold wallet and the integration of the SirinOSSDK for receiving payments).
  • We also made a deal with the Huawei Store and next year we plan to be there. Next in line are negotiations with Honor and Xiaomi.
  • Listing on the largest Dapp markets.
  • Skin marketplaces for the possibility of trading game values in the second quarter of 2019.

Byteball community

Also in mid-January, we will start the process of paying out the participants on the Byteballplatform. We would like to provide the ability to withdraw both to the wallet and to the balance of the game, but with this, there can be difficulties, therefore the possibility of withdrawing from the Byteball to the wallet of the game will be in manual mode.

Exchanges

After listing our token on the exchanges, the crystals will no longer be spawned on the map, with the exception of special events and will be mainly available through the mining, through the exchange of resources or on the exchange.

One of the most frequent questions is — “When exchange?” — we have reached only a part of the necessary deals (2 exchanges), in accordance with our post-ICO strategy, and agreements on the market making.

Some negotiations with large exchanges are still pending, from which, even after agreements, we received a message that until mid-January they would not be able to list any tokens until the understandable market situation and the clear position of the institutionalists on this topic.

Our team knows how to enter the exchange, we are not afraid of a fall in the price of our token — it will happen anyway. This is not an argument why we do not enter the market, our main task is to support the value of the token in the game. We are one of the few projects on the crypto market that did not run to the exchange with a coin having only Whitepaper for short-term profit. We want to become one of those projects that will support the crypto-industry with one more implemented product on the blockchain.
