We Think We Know People’s Behavior

How do we go about predicting behavior in business?

Prediction is crucial for business.

The big prediction question is: Are people going to like this service or product enough to pay money for it?

We’ve only learned insights about what people like and don’t like based from the narrow pool of research we’ve done on our already existing platforms.

But what happens when we introduce an entirely new platform to people?

How do we predict? Can we?

What happens when we give people an entirely new way to interact?

How do we measure whether they’re liking it, feel pressured into it, are addicted to it, hate it, or find it useful?

Answering these questions is important.

But there’s a measure of humbleness here, when our numbers become ineffective and we’re left to guessing.

This new realm of offering what doesn’t yet exist (which we at Worth The Journey live in every day) is volatile and immeasurably rewarding.
