Disneyland has raised its prices by 25% as of yesterday due to the impending opening of a new Star Wars attraction. According to Fox Business, the “cheapest daily ticket” is now more than $100.

This, however, is not the first time in recent history that Disneyland has raised its prices. Less than a year ago, customers saw an 18% price increase. Yesterday’s price increase applied to all park tickets, annual passes, and parking.

Fox Business added, “The Los Angeles Times reports price increases in recent years haven’t thinned the throngs at Disneyland and nearby California Adventure Park.” They also added that a “one-day, one-park ticket for peak-demand days will rise to $149 from $135.”

It will be interesting to see at what point rising ticket prices will affect park attendance.
