Asking Questions on Worthyt

With the new Worthyt interface, we’re making it really simple for anyone to ask questions. All you have to do is navigate to a creator’s profile; for example, you can check out our co-founder’s profile: Kenny Li. From there, anyone can ask a question immediately — no account required! Just click on the chat box at the right side of a creator’s name.

As soon as your start typing your question, the next steps appear. From there, you can select from a couple of options. First is whether or not to show your question publicly.

Public & Private Questions

If you set your question to public, then anyone who visits the creator’s profile will be able to see your name, your question, and the creator’s response. It’s a great way to show off the awesome interaction you have! Also, it might help other askers who have the same question. On the other hand, if it is meant to be a more private question, please set it to private to get a more honest answer from the creator. A private question can only be seen by the asker and content creator.

Submitting Without an Account

If you don’t have an account, you don’t have to sign in to submit — but then it’s very important that you give us an email that we can send your response to. Otherwise, when the creator responds, you will not be able to see the answer. To be safe, we do recommend that you join Worthyt. This way, you can continue view your conversations every time you log in. If you continue to submit without an account, the next step leads you to a PayPal screen, where you can submit your payment with a credit card or PayPal account.

Submitting With an Account

Make sure that you have enough funds in your account. If you don’t, you can quickly charge with PayPal or a credit card (processed by PayPal).

Waiting for a Response

By default, a creator has up to three days to answer your question. The creator can change this duration, and it can go as high as five days or as low as one day. The exact time duration is stated in the text box as placeholder text, before you type in your question. For example, Kenny’s placeholder text says, “If I don’t respond within three days, your $3.00 will be returned to you.”
