Several months after releasing beta v1, we have successfully launched beta v2 based on user feedback and best practices for a better user experience. We have added in several new features that let creators better personalize their profile for their fans.

Try out the new app yourself by logging in from the Worthyt website.

The List of New Features

The New Inbox

The Beta v2 inbox lets you easily jump between conversations, to more quickly access and respond to your fans. The conversations are listed on the left-hand side of the page, while the contents of the conversation are listed on the right. You can now filter conversations as well, by searching for users using the search box on the top left of the page.

A Community

We started with a mission to help content creators succeed. In an effort to further that mission, we are launching the Worthyt Community, which is a Discord channel that connects you with other content creators to chat, collaborate, and grow together. You can also find us on there often, please drop by and say hi!

Profile Pictures

Initially, we launched Beta v1 and used Gravatar for default profile pictures. We decided to use Gravatar because it would reduce a step for the user; after signing up, a creator wouldn’t have to upload a profile picture. While this step was convenient for creators who already had Gravatar profiles, it meant extra steps for ones that had to sign up for Gravatar.

This sign-up process can be confusing, as it requires registering for an additional service that isn’t connected to Worthyt; therefore, to solve this issue, we have added the ability to upload your own profile pictures. Just go into My Account and click on your profile picture. A new box will appear, asking you to change your profile picture.

Changing Question Duration

Every creator is different, and sometimes life can get busy. In our new version, we have enabled the ability for you to change the time limit on answering questions you receive. This new range can be anywhere from 1 to 5 days. Previously, we set the duration to a fixed three days. In some instances, though, it didn’t make sense; for example, answers that required very fast, relevant responses should expire in 24 hours. Other questions might be more evergreen, and can be answered in less time. By default, the time limit is still set to 3 days, but now you adjust that in the My Account page. Within that page, you can change it under the section “Question Duration.”

Editing Your Question Textbox

The textbox that people see when they ask questions has some filler text inside. It says:

Ask me anything. If I don’t respond within 3 days, your money will be returned to you.

Some users found this text quite bland, while others wanted to option to change it to a different language suitable for their audience. In any case, we now allow you to edit the text within the textbox. The “Ask me anything” part is replaced with your new text. The second sentence still remains to inform the asker about the conditions of the agreement. To change your text, go into My Account. Within that page, you can change it under the section “Question Textbox.”

Your Wallet

Beta v2 comes with a wallet page, which can be accessed by clicking on the menu in the top right of the page (where your profile picture is). This page lists all of your transaction history, as well as your balance. It also allows you to add more money to your account, or withdraw.

We hope you’re as excited about the new features as we are. We also hope that these features make it easier for you and your fans to interact. If you want to chat with us, join us in our new Discord community. If you have any questions about Worthyt, please send us an email (hello@worthyt.io).

Best,

The Worthyt Team
