Why should you become a contributor?
Wow AI aims to be an online learning hub for readers who are interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, AI in major fields such as Healthcare, Automotive, Retail, Banking or Manufacturing, crowdsourcing, and personal work and life experience in tech. We are looking for writers to propose up-to-date content focused on these topics with diverse views and writing styles. If you are wondering why you should become part of our community, read on:
- Broaden your exposure: If you’re new on your Medium journey, the best piece of advice veteran writers would give you is to publish via a publication. While large publications seem to be the way to go, submitting to smaller ones has proven to be more effective. Your waiting time won’t be as long and you will definitely receive feedback from us. The chance of getting published is also much higher with Wow AI
- Make money off your writing: When joining the Medium Partner Program, you’ll be able to earn money from your articles by metering it. How to Submit?
To be added as a writer for Wow AI, please leave a comment with your Medium handle (i.e. Please add me as a writer @wowai).
After we add you, you can start writing and submitting to our publication by clicking the three dots … icon in edit mode then Add to Publication, choose Wow AI, and click Submit.
Before submitting
Here are a few essential things to keep in mind:
- Only submit unpublished drafts for better visibility and more reads. Any previously published article will be declined.
- We only work on Medium. We don’t proofread articles published on your blog, a PDF, or a google doc.
- Medium’s Rules and Terms of Service apply to the Wow AI pub.
- You can make minor edits to a published article as long as they respect our rules and guidelines. You can also remove your article from our publication at any time.
- We’d ask you to tag Wow AI to help us promote the publication. Your other tags can be Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, etc.
- Please ensure your private note setting is on as this is how we will communicate with you.
- Make sure your article is carefully proofread to eliminate grammatical errors. We recommend using Grammarly, ProWritingAid, and Quillbot.
- Ensure that you have the right to use the images that are posted in your article. We recommend using Pixabay, Unsplash, StockSnap, Flickr, Pexels, Burst, The Stocks, Wikimedia Commons. If the photo is taken by you, please credit them as “Author’s photo” or similar language that indicates your ownership.
- Make sure there is no plagiarized content published in your article. If we find any plagiarized content, you will be dismissed from the publication permanently.
- Wow AI is strongly against abusive content. Any piece that contains hate speech, abusive, sexist, and racist language, or personal attack will be removed immediately and the writer will be banned from the publication permanently.
Reading time
Long-form posts are very much appreciated and have higher chances of being curated on Medium. The perfect reading time should be between 3 to 7 minutes, which we believe should not be a problem considering how deep AI topics usually are.
After submitting
We will try our best to be as responsive as possible. However, since the publication is growing and the human resource is limited, please allow us 24 to 36 hours (Monday to Friday) to get back to you with either a private note of feedback or publishing your story.
