Write once and earn more by sharing your Medium story on Vocal media. It will only take you 5 minutes to put your story there. If you don’t have an account with them yet, make one today.

But before you run with excitement, let me share with you this quick guide so you know what to expect.

  1. Your story should be at least 600 words. If your Medium story is less than the minimum, you can enhance it to fit their requirement.
  2. Make sure to put a note at the end of the story that it was originally published by you on Medium.
  3. Formatting is basically the same as Medium. But on Vocal, their formatting tool is connected with Unsplash. That makes the selection and attribution of images easier.
  4. They have a moderation team who will review your story and tell you within 24 hours if it is accepted or not. They will tell you the reason why your story is not accepted. You can improve your story and resubmit.
  5. You have to select which “community” you will submit your story to. However, their moderation team can amend your choice and put the story to where it fits better.
  6. You can promote your story as much as you can. Share on Twitter, Reddit, Instagram…
