Wristly Wristware Insider’s Report #42

February 26, 2016

We bring you today the results from the first part of this week Wristly research featuring the feedback on the Apple vs FBI fight — as seen from the lense of existing Apple customers. More than 1,200 Apple Watch members of the Wristly research panel contributed to this report.

A significant impact

Our first question this week asked how our Apple Watch panelists rate how concerned they are with the privacy of their personal data. This week ratings (blue bars in the chart) features a rating average of 4.16 vs a 3.84 average reported with our Healthcare research conducted only two weeks before the FBI/Apple case emerged.

Very high awareness of the fight

Only 2% of our panel of Apple Watch owners reported not really knowing much about this case and a very large 89% stating being very aware of it.

Clear comprehension of the case top issues

96% of our panel reports being clear or very clear about the overall case and its core issues.

A strong positive with existing customers

Needless to say, these numbers speak for themselves and at least when it comes to existing Apple customers, their vote is loud and clear that they approve and support the stance of the company on this topic.
