These things cannot be bought, they must be earned.

But, how to earn them?

Stop doing these 10 things

(Spoiler alert: Fitness goes beyond the physical.)

Physical fitness

  1. Sedentary lifestyle (duh)
  2. Lack of quality sleep
  3. Poor diet choices
  • Seed oils, processed foods, alcohol, etc

4. Lack of rest

Mental fitness

5. Stress

  • The right amount of stress gives you an edge, but don’t go beyond the productive amount.

6. Procrastination

  • More often than not, it’s a mindset problem.

Social fitness

7. Self-righteousness

  • Being stubborn and thinking you are better than everyone will only lead to isolation and bitterness within the relationships you have

Spiritual fitness

8. Going against your values

  • A disconnection between what you are doing and what you want to stand for — your values and your purpose

Emotional fitness

9. Negative self-talk

  • Relentless comparison and self-criticism catch up with you, leading to burnout or neglect of important things in life
  • Rule of thumb: Talk to yourself like you would with your best friend.

Financial fitness

10. Living above your means

  • But if it’s not a math problem, it’s a mindset problem.
