Twenty-five years ago, when I was just a freshman in high school, I got a homework assignment from my English teacher that was pretty straightforward at the time.
It was — “Advice for a Younger Generation.”
The idea was to interview someone older than 25, learn about their life, and ask for advice they’d give to younger people. Of course, Without hesitation, I chose to interview my dad. He was 52 years old at the time, and he gave me 18 pieces of advice.
