I have to tell you, this is a LIE. Or a story without any background.
Because here’s what no one talks about: most solopreneurs take months if not a year to build that momentum. Especially when you start off with no knowledge of business or freelancing and no client network.
Month 0–1 — Laying the Groundwork
The first month is mostly about figuring things out. There’s no real money yet, maybe a tiny win here and there. You’re still unsure what service to offer, or how to price it, or who to even talk to.
This is when you spend a lot of time researching. Watching free webinars. Trying to write your bio. Staring at your LinkedIn profile, wondering if it looks convincing. You read other people’s case studies and feel overwhelmed. Some days you’re motivated. Most days you’re just guessing.
But this is necessary. You’re building the foundation. Without it, everything else falls apart later.
