About Myself: Updated Version
Let me reintroduce myself
As part of an ongoing contest by the Write A Catalyst Publication, I hereby update the About Me story herein. This is with a high-level anticipation of emerging victorious in the highly competitive writing contest.
This writer began writing on the Medium platform on December 12, 2023. The motivation was like a house on fire.
The fire had a constant supply of sufficient fuel until the end of March, 2024. The motivation became lower after becoming a supposedly member of the Medium Paywall — with the sad realization that he could not be paid due to his geographical location.
This writer no doubt had expected to start earning from the platform as he began writing. But the dreams became shattered following an email received after enquires were made.
Thus, you were qualified to read the stories on the platform but not qualified to earn anything even though you could write on the platform.
That was the summarized, paraphrased version of the official Medium response. Since then, things have taken a southward plunge — as some would say.
