Are You Noticing a Decrease in Earnings on Medium?
If you’ve been publishing on Medium for any period of time, you might have seen some fluctuations in your payouts. But this week especially, something has been rather strange. One piece is showing 23 views, 20 reads, and only $1.70 in earnings.
Another: 20 views, 10 reads for $1.30. There appears to be a great deal less payout for the amount of engagement, which just doesn’t seem right.
While a previous article that received 20 views and 15 reads earned a much higher amount, $5.05.
Something is definitely weird happening. The rules are not working the way they have been before. And the falloff in earnings is driving a lot of eyeballs batty.
Have any of you also seen a loss of earnings on your end? I hope this is just a glitch. Maybe things will go back to normal in the morning.
