Henry was petrified for a while, his senses, his mind, and his body all were petrified. He mustered up his courage and left the room, ignoring the appearance that he just encountered.

Even in board meetings at his company, he was unusually quiet.

“Is something bothering you Henry?”, his father inquired.

Henry was continuously staring into the space, even his father looked behind his chair but he didn’t see anything, but Henry could see that haunted bride which he encountered in the morning.

“Henry! Henry!” his father called him.

Henry was pale like a porcelain doll.

His father shakes him, “If you are not feeling well, take some rest”.

He nervously wipes his sweat, “Please, excuse me”.

Henry could feel that the haunted bride was following him. He entered his office and mustered his courage, “Who are you? Why are you following me?”

That haunted bride appeared out of thin air in front of him and grabbed his hands, “I’m your wife, my beloved”.

“Husb…Husband? I’m not fooling” Henry said in a firm tone.

“Neither I am”, her voice was serene and her tone was firm.

“We got married, last night, remember?” she said.

The only thing Henry remembers is last night he had the worst nightmares.

“We vowed last night”, she was affirmed.

“you..umm… you are human?” he asked her another question.

“No, I’m a cursed ghost”, saying this, she removed her bridal veil.

Henry’s heart jumped out of his throat after seeing the glimpse of her face and in another moment he faints.

When he gains consciousness, he sees his secretary beside him and her newlywed ghost wife who was again wearing the bridal veil.
