The Journey has Just Begun!
Flight Home:
The moment has arrived. I sat in the center of the plane after finding out I had been placed again in the rear, where the tail is, and to make matters worse, I was sandwiched between a huge guy who was occupying the aisle seat. I had to move, and thankfully, I was able to move to the center of the plane.
It turned out the center of the plane was equally rough. Yeah, I found out the hard way! So, began my 10 hours and 46 minutes of battling the headwind, blowing right at the nose of the plane, which made it a pretty rough ride. But, I did my usual routine of moving every couple of hours, and what was 10 hours and 46 minutes felt like 24 hours being stuck in the can.
After what felt like forever, the pilot told me to sit down. We were warned from the start of our arrival in my country that the wind was quite strong. I wasn’t surprised because I live in a place where the west is the mountain and the east is the sea, so the wind is always in its own emotional…
