Not hating on any of the courses out there…
Really, I’ve taken a few this year that I absolutely loved.
But last week I was talking with a friend about the trend to ‘just start a course’.
And of course, even though neither of us will be starting a course anytime soon, they asked,
“Okay, but Arslan — if you were going to start a course on something, what would it be?”
My answer?
I’d teach people how to write an Article (writing).
A lot of the time, people talk or listen — without having any true communication or understanding.
In a world of endless self-promotion and attention-grabbing headlines, (again, no shade Medium).
The art of real relationships/connections is becoming harder and harder to come by.
Here’s the thing:
True influence isn’t YOU having the loudest voice in the room.
It’s about being one people want to listen to.
