The pursuit of better kills solopreneur businesses every day.
Solopreneurs work relentlessly to be better — better writers, better designers, better marketers, better salespeople. They refine their craft, upgrade their skills, and push themselves to improve.
And yet, the results don’t come.
They wonder what’s wrong. They’ve put in the work, invested the time, and sharpened their abilities but their brand and their business are still invisible.
The Problem with “Better”
The problem with better is that it’s meaningless from a branding perspective.
Better is subjective. It’s incremental. It’s invisible to the outside world.
Think about it — when was the last time you followed someone because they were slightly better at writing email subject lines? Or because their graphic design was 10% cleaner than someone else’s?
Probably never, and you never will.
