You know what’s ironic? I’ve met extremely talented individuals who have never done anything special.

And I’ve met some people with absolutely no special skills who went on to create something exceptional—simply because they would not give up.

Talent is a head start, not a finish line.

Take a look around. How many “naturally talented” individuals do you know who never worked to the fullest of their potential? They have never tried to discover their strengths.

Perhaps they were the brightest in class, the most innovative in their social circle, or the ones who always had potential.

But they never tried to get out of their comfort zone. They assumed that talent was everything to get them over the line.

And then there’s the second group—the ones who weren’t the brightest, quickest, or most talented but still succeeded. How?

They showed up. Every. Single. Day.

Hard work is the equalizer. It doesn’t matter where you begin.

If you are willing to work the hours, learn, fail, and keep trying…
